Organic Care for Dry Skin

While choosing the organic ingredients for dry skin care you need to follow certain procedures in steps. Your first aim is to enhance the moisture level in your skin and eliminate / reduce dryness. In this process the recommended steps are:

  1. Skin cleaning
  2. Skin exfoliation
  3. Skin toning
  4. Skin hydration

Skin Cleaning

Before taking any steps for hydrating your skin you need to clean it completely and eliminate all forms of dirt and other toxic elements from it. It can be done by literally steaming your skin with essential oils.

  • Add one liter of pure water into a bowl or sauna kit.
  • Add two to three tablespoons of essential oil and 1 teaspoon of lemon syrup.
  • Bring it to boiling point and expose your skin to the steam for about 20 minutes (with breaks in between).
  • Then you can remove the dirt from your skin pores by using a mask. Once it is done you can wash your skin with cool water.
  • Repeating this procedure twice a day for 10 days can enhance the cleanliness of your skin and remove toxic elements from the skin layers.

Skin Exfoliation

In the next step you need to exfoliate your skin. It is the process by which you remove the dead skin cells in the outer layers. It can be done by scrubbing your skin with a combination of coconut oil and sugar.

Add them in the ratio of 3:1 in a bowl and stir well. Allow the mix to settle for 5 to 10 minutes. By this time the sugar would have dissolved to some extent. Apply it onto your skin and scrub with your fingers. Wash your skin with warm water.

Skin Toning

In the next step you need to tone your skin with apple cider vinegar. Take two to three teaspoons of vinegar in a bowl and apply it onto the skin areas which need to be toned.

If you wish to enhance the effects of skin brightness you can add Aloe Vera, glycerin or essential oils. Let the vinegar soak your skin for about 15 to 20 minutes before washing off with warm water.

Skin Hydration

In the last step you need to hydrate your skin with the help of herbal lotions that can be prepared at home. Chamomile oil is one of the recommended ingredients for this purpose.

Willow bark, rice water, barley, tea tree oil, almond oil, avocado and Aloe Vera are the other elements which you can add with this oil for enhancing the hydration process.

Apply the oil all over your skin uniformly to form a thin layer. You can do this just before you step into the shower. Let the oil rinse your skin for about 15 to 20 minutes before taking a warm shower.

The above listed four steps can be repeated twice a week to give you visible results within a span of 15 to 20 days. Similar to the treatment for dry skin you can find step by step procedures for other four types of skin also.

Organic Acne Skin Care

Natural cure for acne can vary depending on the intensity and skin areas on which acne has spread. The first obvious step is to normalize the secretion of skin oil. It can be done by blending a peeled banana with 2 tablespoons of honey. Add one tablespoon of lemon and mix well. Apply it onto your skin areas affected by acne and let it soak the skin for about 15 minutes.

Now you can wash it with cool water, dry it and apply a natural moisturizer like Aloe Vera liquid. Repeating simple procedure for 10 to 15 days can result in visible control over skin oil. Once this step is complete you have progressed by more than 70% towards getting rid of skin acne.

In the next step you need to remove acne in your skin areas from root levels. It can be done by using a face pack of fuller’s earth (clay with bentonite content). You need to mix it with essential oil and sandalwood powder in equal proportion.

Mix well to prepare a face pack. Apply it onto the skin areas affected by acne. You need to wait until the pack dries out completely. Then you can wash it off with warm water. By repeating this process once in a week you will be able to get rid of acne from your skin for a long time.

Organic Skin Brightening

Skin brightening is done for removal of dark spots and patches from your skin surface naturally. Licorice extract is one of the herbal ingredients that can be used for this purpose.

You need to apply the juices derived from this herb. Extensive research works have found it to be effective for reducing the melanin content by more than 50% when used regularly.

Organic Skin Bleaching

Organic skin bleaching can be done at home with pure honey alone. You need to apply it onto your facial skin and let it soak for about 15 minutes. Then you can wash it with warm water.

You can add 1/4th teaspoon of lemon syrup with 1 teaspoon of honey to prepare a fine facial mask. Once you wash off make sure that you apply moisturizer like Aloe Vera to overcome the dryness caused by lemon syrup.
