Cosmetic uses: Base for natural hair dye, skin beautification and moisturizing.

Sample recipe for skin care:

  • Add two teaspoons of Gooseberry extract juice with one teaspoon of honey, one teaspoon of Aloe vera liquid and one teaspoon of essential oil in a bowl and mix well.
  • Apply on skin areas affected by dryness, peeling, acne and pimples.
  • Let the liquid soak the skin area for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Then you can wash with warm water.

You need to repeat this procedure for about two to three weeks. By the end of this time you can experience considerable healing effects.

Sample recipe for skin beautification:

  • Take two teaspoons of Gooseberry oil with two teaspoons of essential oil (for example lavender oil), two teaspoons of turmeric oil and one teaspoon of Aloe Vera liquid in a bowl and mix well.
  • Apply on facial skin completely and let it soak your skin for about 30 minutes.

If you have a dry skin it gets absorbed completely into the skin layers and initiates hydration process. If you have oily skin in the T zone it helps in removing the sticky feelings from that region and keeps it fresh.

For normal skin it acts as skin cleanser.

Recipe ingredient: Rubica Cordifolia ( Manjit) plant root and stem.

Contents:  Purpurin, alizarin and alizarin glucoside.

Medicinal uses: It is extensively used as antiseptic in the powder form.

Cosmetic uses: It is used for removing dark spots on the skin formed due to aging, infections and other allergens.

Sample skin care recipe:

  • Add two teaspoons of Manjit powder, two teaspoons of vitamin E oil, and two teaspoons of eucalyptus oil and one teaspoon of turmeric oil in a bowl and mix well.
  • Apply on skin areas affected by cuts, bruises and wounds.

It helps in avoiding skin infections.

Sample recipe for skin beautification:

  • Add two teaspoons of Manjit powder, two teaspoons of pure honey ingredient, one teaspoon of essential oil, one teaspoon of coconut oil and one teaspoon of Aloe Vera liquid in a bowl and mix well.
  • Apply on skin areas affected by dark (black, brown, red, aging) spots. Let the ingredients get absorbed into the skin layers.
  • You don’t need to wash it.

Repeating this procedure for about 3 weeks will help in considerably reducing the dark spots on your skin.

Dry Skin Treatment Ingredients

Recipe ingredient: Rhizome powder.

Contents:  Curcumin, cinerol, borneol, zingiberene and phellandrene.

Medicinal uses: Tonic preparation is used for blood purification. Powder is used for healing parasite infections.

Cosmetic uses: Skin brightening and dryness softening when combined with Aloe Vera liquid and Coconut oil.

Sample skin care recipe:

  • Add two teaspoons of Rhizome powder, two teaspoons of honey, and two teaspoons of milk with one teaspoon of Neem extract taken from leaves in a bowl and mix well.

You need to drink this tonic every day early in the morning after you brush your teeth.

Avoid eating or consuming any other fluids for the next 30 minutes. Then you can resume your everyday routine.

Sample recipe for skin beautification:

  • Add two teaspoons of Rhizome powder, two teaspoons of chamomile oil, with one teaspoon of castor oil, one teaspoon of coconut oil and one teaspoon of Aloe Vera liquid in a bowl and mix well.
  • Apply on skin areas affected by dryness, skin scaling, dead skin layers and hard layers.
  • Let the ingredients soak your skin for about 1 hour.
  • If you find that the ingredients have been absorbed by your skin, you don’t need to wash it. A

  • Then you can wash with cool water.

Repeating this procedure for about 3 weeks will help in considerably reducing the skin dryness and softening of hard skin layers.

If you wish to remove dead skin cells you need to add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar into the mix.
