Anti Aging Herbal Treatment

Gooseberry Recipe


Skin cleansing can be done with the help of:

  • 1/2 cup gooseberry juice,
  • 2 teaspoons of coconut oil,
  • 1 teaspoon lemon syrup and
  • 1 teaspoon castor oil

Mix the ingredients in a bowl and apply on facial skin. Let the ingredients soak your skin for about 20 minutes. Then you can wash with warm water.

It helps in removing the dirt and other impurities deposited in your skin pores.

If you wish to remove dead skin cells you can prepare a mixture of:

  • 2 teaspoons gooseberry oil,
  • 1 teaspoon castor oil
  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.

Apply on skin areas and let it soak for 15 minutes. Then you can gently scrub the skin for about 5 minutes. Wash with warm water and apply skin moisturizer.

Skin toning can be done effectively with:

  • 2 teaspoons of gooseberry juice
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of Aloe Vera liquid
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • Add the ingredients to a bowl and mix with ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder.

Heat the ingredients till they mix well. Then you need to let it cool to lukewarm temperature. Apply the paste on your skin and let it soak for 30 minutes before washing with cool water.

Skin brightening can be done by adding:

  • 2 teaspoons of gooseberry juice
  • 1 teaspoon of Shea butter
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil

Add the ingredients to a bowl and mix well. You need to heat the ingredients till they mix well. Keep stirring the ingredients in low flame and avoid boiling.

Shea butter actually melts at room temperature when kept open for about 5 minutes. Heating is done in order to make its ingredients mix with the other elements. Let it cool to room temperature.

Apply the paste on your skin and let it soak for one hour. This acts like a skin pack which you can use for your facial skin, hands, legs, feet and rest of body skin. Wash with cool water after one hour.

Turmeric Recipe


Dry skin

Dry skin needs to be hydrated regularly in order to make the cells capable of retaining moisture. It is possible only when you remove the toxic elements from them and enhance their energy levels.

Once you have initiated this process with the help of recipe given here, the cells and tissues get sufficient tensile strength. This recipe also increases the generation of collagen on your skin layers, making them tight and elastic in nature.

  • Take ½ cup of turmeric oil,
  • 1/4th cup of coconut oil,
  • 1/4th cup of castor oil
  • 3 teaspoons of Aloe Vera liquid in a bowl and mix well.
  • Add ½ teaspoon of ginger garlic paste to make it anti infectious properties.
  • Since garlic produces a unique smell you can add two teaspoons of rose oil to balance it.

Mix well and apply on your skin. Let it soak for about 40 minutes. Then you can wash with cool water.

Normal Skin

Normal skin is said to be free from excess oil, dryness, flakes and skin spots. However such symptoms can appear during skin allergies and infections.

Then the first step you need to take is disinfection of your skin. It could be done effectively with the combination of:

  • 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder (You also use turmeric oil, but powder is considered more effective for skin disinfection),
  • 1 teaspoon of eucalyptus oil (avoid it if you have skin blisters or open wounds as it can cause irritation. Instead you could use Neem oil which is also an anti infectious ingredient),
  • 1 teaspoon of honey ( for cooling, if you can’t find honey use glycerine),
  • ½ cup of coconut oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of Aloe vera liquid.

Add the ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Apply on affected skin areas and let it soak overnight. You can wash your skin with cool water in the morning.

You need to repeat this procedure twice a week for two three weeks. Your skin gets immunized to considerable levels. Turmeric is also a decent skin beautifier and acts as hair remover when used with sugar or sea salt for about three weeks.

Oily Skin

Oily skin is prone to acne attacks, especially during summer seasons. Oily skin sweats little and the toxic elements get trapped in the internal skin layers. So you need to eliminate it along with excess of trapped heat.

  • Add ½ cup of turmeric oil with a small piece of crushed ginger,
  • ½ teaspoon of asafoetida powder, ½ teaspoon of pepper powder and ½ teaspoon of Aloe Vera liquid.

Mix well and apply on skin areas affected by / prone to acne outbreaks. Let the liquid soak your skin for about 30 minutes before washing with cool water.

You may need to use this recipe twice a day (in case the acne symptoms are severe) until the symptoms go away. If your skin has any acne scars you can apply it for another 7 to 8 days till the scars get healed.

Regularly use skin moisturizer and sunscreen while going out into sun. Using protective cotton clothes can help in shielding your skin from direct exposure to UV radiations. It is better to avoid skin tight clothes during summer season.
