plexaderm

Aging of the skin is a natural process that we all have to face at some point.

Unfortunately, in the modern world, a large section of the population is experiencing aging skin at a much younger age than they should.

One study revealed that there is a large number of people who start to experience facial wrinkling from a very young age – sometimes from 21 years.

At the age of 22, many people start to experience a reduction in skin elasticity.

These factors have opened an opportunity for thousands of anti-aging skincare products.

This industry is estimated to reach $331.41 in value within the next four years. One major concern is that most of these products are ineffective or take a long time to work.

Plexaderm is different from your average anti-aging serum. It is focused on short-term results, instead of long-term use.

This product has been proven effective and delivers several advantages over many of the anti-aging serums available on the market today.

Let’s dive deeper into this serum and see if it is worth trying out.

What Is Plexaderm

The skin ages naturally at a gradual rate, but the modern world causes our skin to age at an accelerated rate.

Smoking and unprotected exposure to the sun are some of the most concerning contributing factors.

Many products on the market today promoted as anti-aging solutions target common signs of aging.

This includes wrinkles, fine lines and dark circles around the user’s eyes.

The problem, however, is that we are still exposed to toxins and other environmental factors that continue to contribute to aging skin.

Anti-aging products work slowly.

Most people have to use these products for several weeks – or sometimes a couple of months – before they see any results.

Plexaderm is completely different from these products.

This is not a long-term solution – it does not help to boost elastin over several months or build back collagen.

Instead, Plexaderm is an immediate solution that provides a short-term option for visibly reducing the appearance of bags underneath the eyes, dark circles and, thanks to recent updates to their formula, wrinkles and fine lines all over the face and neck.

Plexaderm is formulated to work gently, yet provide impressive results in a minimal amount of time.

This product is surely one of those beauty products that people need to have close to them at all times if they find their self-esteem ripped away by unpleasant wrinkles, swelling and similar age-related symptoms on their skin.

Ingredients

ingredients

This product has been formulated with a minimal amount of ingredients to ensure the user’s skin is not exposed to an excessive number of compounds.

Additionally, the product also avoids the use of harsh chemicals that may cause irritation and sensitive reactions – a common complaint among people who often tend to use similar products.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8

The main ingredient of this product is Acetyl Hexapeptide-8. This is a relatively popular ingredient in the anti-aging industry.

The ingredient is also commonly known as Argireline.

Many studies have been produced to assist with understanding how this substance can be helpful in addressing common symptoms associated with aging of the skin, including a particular focus on wrinkles.

Even though primarily promoted to deliver instant results by forming a layer on top of the skin, this ingredient may hold longer-term benefits for the skin as well.

One study found improvements in aged skin tissue, which included an increase in type 1 collagen fibers.

This means frequent use of the product may not only hold short-term benefits but might also help to provide benefits in improving skin elasticity in the long run.

Another study found that as much as 48.9% may reduce wrinkle depth in certain subjects.

Inactive Ingredients

Apart from the Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 as the main ingredient of the formula, the product also contains a number of additional ingredients to help make the serum more effective.

Other ingredients also found in the serum include:

  • Aqua (water)
  • Magnesium Aluminum Silicate
  • Ethylhexylglycerin
  • Phenoxyethanol
  • Cellulose Gum
  • Sodium Silicate

The product also contains two different dyes, including CI 19140 (Yellow 5 Dye) and CI 16035 (Red 40 Dye).

These two dyes are included to give the serum its particular color.

How Does Plexaderm Work

plexaderm before afterPlexaderm is a simple product with a very useful purpose.

The product takes advantage of silicate minerals that are extracted from shale clay.

This is an all-natural ingredient, which means the skin is not exposed to potentially harmful chemicals.

The silicate minerals create a layer on the user’s skin that causes the area to become tighter temporarily.

Additionally, the layer also causes the skin to become smoother and can help to shrink areas of inflammation, such as bags that develop underneath the eyes.

The tightening layer will last for approximately eight hours on the applied areas, or until it is washed off.

How To Use This Product

Plexaderm is a topical serum that is applied directly to areas where wrinkles and fine lines are present, as well as below to eyes to get rid of bags and inflammation.

The product produced short-term effects – most users find that the serum is able to help provide a significant reduction in the appearance of age-related signs on their face in just three to ten minutes.

Using the product is also quite easy, but a user needs to ensure that they were thoroughly clean and dry their face before applying this serum.

It is also important not to apply other products, such as a moisturizer, before using the serum as this may cause the effects of the formula to deactivate.

The container should be shaken prior to use, and the plunger needs to be rotated to unlock it, allowing the serum to be dispensed from the container.

A very small amount of the serum should be dispensed on the user’s finger, which should then be applied to areas that are affected by wrinkles and fine lines.

The product can also be applied around the eyes.

Once applied, the user should wait a couple of minutes for the serum to set.

It is advised to avoid expressions for at least five minutes after applying the serum to maximize its efficiency.

When the product has set, the user can apply makeup and moisturizer as desired.

It is highly recommended to opt for powder-based products as oil-based makeup can deactivate the effects of the active ingredients in the serum.

Possible Side Effects

side effects

According to the official website of the product, no side-effects are expected to develop in the user.

This seems beneficial at first, but when we look at reviews found on the third-party website, it seems like some users have reported side-effects.

In particular, some users have reported a burning sensation, as well as swelling.

This may be due to an allergic reaction, making it important for users to first do an allergy test before applying the serum to their face.

Is This A Scam

With a relatively large number of scams being present in the anti-aging and skincare industries (do a search on Google to discover thousands of scam reports), it is important to consider the legitimacy of any product before making a purchase.

By considering the many publications reporting on the effects of this product, it becomes clear that customers are placing their trust in this serum.

The serum has also been mentioned on several television shows, including shows on CBS, FOX, The CW, ABC and even on NBC.

With so many positive reactions, even by these media authorities, it adds to the legitimacy of the serum and helps potential customers know that they are not buying into a scam.

Plexaderm Customer Reviews & Complaints

reviews

Now that we come to the customer reviews about Plexaderm, things get a little more complicated.

On the official website for this product, there are quite impressive reviews that the brand is featuring.

The problem is, no brand would really show off with negative reviews – product brands tend to look at all reviews that come in, filter through them and choose the best ones.

They do, however, have some photos to back up the efficiency of their product.

Mike, the Chief Financial Officer at a company in New York, had the following to report after using this product:

I lived my adult life with bags under my eyes and never thought I could do a thing about it. I’m the Chief Financial Officer at True Earth Health Products, it’s a busy, young office, so I’ve got to look my best. It’s amazing that Plexaderm actually works. In 10 minutes, the skin around my eyes transforms, and it really looks great.

This seems all good and well, but the moment we turn our focus to other websites where the product is also sold – then things become complex.

The product’s listing on Amazon has a total of 222 reviews at the time of writing this review guide – and the average rating is 2.5 out of 5.0.

This is quite a lower rating when you consider some of the other options on the Amazon platform has ratings of more than four stars.

Let’s take a look at some of the reviews left by users on the product’s Amazon listing.

Kathryn Dawson had this to say:

This product does not work. I applied it exactly as the directions said. After five minutes, I smiled and noted deep crevices where I formerly did not have wrinkles. I washed it off, but my skin continued to swell and burn.

Michele Somers:

I was so excited to try this product. I had heard good results. It did work for about 2 minutes. Then my under bags returned.

The list goes on. There are many negative reviews about the product.

On the other hand, most people who did leave a negative review reported that they were able to get a refund on their purchase – ensuring a risk-free purchase.

  • Instead of having to wait several weeks before improvements can be observed, this product works in as little as three to ten minutes for most users.
  • Plexaderm is relatively affordable, especially when the bulk packages are purchased.

  • The product has a low rating on some third-party websites.

Final Verdict

final verdict

The skin plays an important role in a person’s self-esteem, leaving little room for wrinkles, fine lines and, of course, those bags under the eyes.

A lot of products make outrageous claims and often fail to deliver on those promises.

Fortunately, some products do have potential and can effectively reduce the appearance of skin-related issues that are associated with aging.

Plexaderm is a revolution in the skincare industry.

Even though the effects of this serum are temporary, it acts within as little as ten minutes and provides some of the most effective results in the industry.

Thousands are relying on this product every day to help them gain back their confidence and face the world head-on.

  1. Debbie says:

Can you use foundation over the plexaderm? Will it still work?

    1. Sherry Warren says:

I bought this, it does what it says but I have not been able to wear makeup. Once you put anything over it, the product and results disappear as if nothing has happened at all.

      1. Julie Lakies says:

I had used plexiderm about 8 months ago, worked okay, but like you said, put anything over it, effects fade. i recently got it again, and they have changed the ingredients and had a horrible allergic reaction. It burned my skin badly, and after three days, the application area was red, swollen, dried up. It took a week for the redness to go away and the dry skin patches to fall off.

  2. Todd says:

sounds like snake oil, and @ 99 a month, i’m passing.

    1. Janet says:

It doesn’t work! Plus bad syringe constantly clogging, drying up and mine stopped dispensing all within a month. Yet when I finally got a hold of them which was a few days past 30 return period (I bought in Dec, 2017 and they’re the only company I know who doesn’t even offer extended holiday return, that should tell you something) they refuged to let me return for a refund. I’d never buy another thing from this company. They won’t stand behind their product even if it stops working so you’re stuck with a syringe that won’t dispense.

  3. Trish says:

I’d like to know also if your face cracks hen you smile.

    1. Beth Drucker says:

My experience was NOT a good one. Under my eyes became VERY swollen and red as a beet!! Beware before you buy, especially people who have sensitive skin!

  4. Linda says:

How many hours does it last? This could create some embarrassing moments when it wears off!

    1. Sandi Baker says:

      It don’t work at all

  5. Ron Gibian says:

Complete ripoff indeed, does not eliminate everything as shown on tv and other media. What ever little it does is only for a couple of hours. Never did have to much wrinkles or anything any way but a bit of a bag on the right eye and did nothing for that. Used it twice and stopped and now the skin is wrinkled which I never saw before. I hope this side effect goes away as now I have real issue with the after effects of this bogus product.

    1. Gail Reiter says:

received my Plexaderm yesterday, applied, within an hour it stopped working, I have bags under my eyes that I never had before, one of the ingredients is like what is in hemorrhoidal cream, looked it up, states after using under eyes, it shrinks but when it wears off you will have more bags due to the product causing the skin to shrink and then expand. Don’t waste your money. I will try to return mind.

  6. PM says:

You can’t wear make up over it at all. It’s like the stuff at the drugstore called “sudden change” or something like that. The stuff at the drugstore is also under 20 dollars too.

    1. Jennifer says:

I recently bought the sudden change and it gives directions on how to use with foundation. It says to add a couple drops to your yhe foundation you’re applying before applying it on your face. The directions are: If you plan to use foundation, mix the two drops of Sudden Change Under-Eye Firming Serum with 1 drop foundation in the palm of your hand. Apply using the same method and leave the eye area to dry. Apply foundation to the rest of your face, making sure that the eye area remains untouched. Seems to help soften and reduce bags. Even for a couple days afterward after washing it off that night. It’s worth a shot for the price and convince.

  7. P Goldberg says:

Egg white does the same thing! And there are many of these products. I tried a well known makeup catalogue’ s version and found same issue in that I could not put makeup over it. Don’t waste your time or money.

  8. jr says:

bought it on ebay didnt work atall

  9. Dena says:

Preparation H does the same thing for a LOT less money and has been used for years. The aloe gel is best.

    1. Debbie says:

      Is it safe?

  10. Linda Johannes says:

It tightens the skin under your eyes for a short time, but at the same time, smaller wrinkles are suddenly visable. You can not wear make up over it at all, and most frustrating is the syringe. It is NOT made correctly, and stopped dispensing anything after about 10 applications. I had barely used any of it. $60.00 down the drain.

    1. Debbie says:

I experienced the same problems as you Linda. Can’t put makeup over it and I only used my tube about 5 or 6 times and it stopped working. They instructed me to take it apart and clean it – didn’t work. Now they won’t respond to my email! Way to expensive for the quality of product!

      1. Mary says:

AGREE with both Linda and Debbie – the applicator sucks and only good for 10 applications. Thought a pebble clogged up the syringe- but only after taking pliers to it crushing it noted the material had dried up. worked great but a times stung like hell. I will never purchase again! LET THE BUYER BEWARE – DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY – VERY EXPENSIVE FOR ONLY 10 APPLICATIONS.

        1. Savage says:

This article is poorly written. I would have completly took u for real if ur article didn’t sound like propaganda. all of the comments look like my English homework, back in the daaaaay. Please take it down n make some real points, that empathize w the readers suggested concerns. I really want to c if this works n ur article made me want to prove u wrong. N I’m still scared to use it lol. Help us if it going to help us!! Don’t bash please , thank u <3 savage santoyy

  11. valerie says:

I noticed that it worked only alone no moisturizer can be applied because anything deactivates it. Now my under eyes are all crinkled because of it. It only makes since now It tightens and releases stretching our skin out of place. All it did was make my eyes look WORSE! So Sad. Money down the drain, it should be banned!

  12. Jill says:

Guys…I bought Vine Vera product for the same exact thing. Works great! Pretty expensive but I love it. Gets rid of bags and most of the dark circles under my eyes. It is for the eyes only, but I suppose you could try it on the whole face. It is in a syringe and comes out easily so there is no waste.

  13. Janna says:

I think it has Preparation H in it, and they put a heck of a pricetag on a hemorrhoid cream!

  14. Rose says:

I wish I read all these comments before buying. Waste of money!

  15. pat howell says:

Worthless, waste of money. Actually makes wrinkles more prominent and irritates skin. Bought it 3 weeks ago from plexiderm and still trying to get my money back. Every time I call, they answer right away but when I say I want to find out about getting a refund, I am transferred to customer service, placed on hold and no one ever picks up.

    1. Christopher Bradford Medeiros says:

Pat just call your Credit card company and tell them what’s going on and they will start a claim against them. I did it with my CC company and had over 3000.00 cancelled in payment because the product was nothing like any of the pictures in the add. Yeppers I took complete web page copy’s of the add as I always do just to cover my butt if something sent is not what they say it is in the add.

  16. Deb says:

I’m glad I read these comments before pursuing further research. Snake oil salesmen really P me off.

  17. Diane says:

I probably will not try this, based on comments provided. I found 3 products (oils) one is for eyes, the other 2, I use 3 drops each (in the palm of my hand and apply to my face. I have gotten many compliments on my skin and I am 70+ years old. (I spend approx. $12.00 every 2 months.

    1. Carol says:

Hi Diane I am so g!ad I read yours (and everyone’s review),I hate being ripped off! You mentioned other products that works just as well, would you be able to list them. Thanks carol

    2. sallie says:

What is the name of product you found please let me try your secret. Ty nice review I wish there were more honest ppl like you. Saved my money I’m on social security ty again

    3. Dee says:

what are you using on your skin

    4. Lynne says:

Happy for you! Please share the details so we can try for ourselves?

  18. Mary says:

AGREE with all the posts here – worked beautifully but unable to use foundation over it, results vanished. Then the STUPID applicator is vile – worked one morning then the next NOTHING came out. Took to the pliers and crushed the applicator only to find the plexaderm was dried up, only after about 10 applications. Was ready to repurchase until these postings! Fool me once YOU WILL NEVER FOOL ME AGAIN – UNTIL YOU COME UP WITH BETTER PACKAGING AND NO SYRINGE APPLICATOR!!!

  19. Jano1 says:

Glad I took the time to look for reviews, other than their web sight, before I purchased! Thanks!!

  20. Richard Russell says:

Look closely at the Plexaderm before and after pictures. Every hair is in exactly the same place, not the slightest variation. Obviously photoshopped.
