Complicated cosmetic surgical procedures have significantly decreased in the past few years with more and more people opting for easier, faster, and more efficient minimally invasive procedures.

Simpler non-invasive cosmetic procedures have even gained a reputation as “lunchtime procedures” because they allow patients to return to their daily activities in less than two hours after the treatment.

In this complete CoolSculpting review, we look at what the procedure entails, side effects, cost, and the reasons why both men and women are now turning to it as an affordable, safe, and fast way of maintaining and improving their looks.

What Is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting, which is also known as Cryolipolysis, is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure used in eliminating fat cells from different parts of the body.

CoolSculpting treatment is often applied on the face and other parts of the body in lifting, sculpting, or tightening procedures.

The treatment freezes stubborn fat cells using controlled cooling of up to 4 degrees Celsius to sculpt the affected area into a more attractive shape.

The procedure is meant to kill subcutaneous fat deposits without adversely affecting the overlying skin.

The treatment is based on a proven theory that fat cells have a higher susceptibility to effects of cold temperatures than other skin cells.

It is a safe procedure that has been used commercially for many years.

It was first approved by the FDA in the year 2010 as an effective, safe, and fast way of reducing abdominal and flank fat.

In 2014, the procedure was cleared by the FDA as a treatment for reducing subcutaneous fat around the thighs.

The technique is a brainchild Harvard University Doctors, R. Rox Anderson and Dieter Manstein, who discovered the reduction effects of cold temperatures on fat cells.

The two doctors observed that most children who ate popsicles frequently later developed dimples and later went ahead to prove that cold temperatures could eliminate fat cells in specific areas of the body without damaging the skin.

The dead fat cells are then digested by the body’s system.

How Does CoolSculpting Work?

When the body is exposed to extreme levels of cold temperature, its response is to cut blood circulation and maintain its core temperature.

CoolSculpting increases the body’s inflammatory response to high levels of cold by directing blood flow to the skin’s upper layers where fat cells are crystallized and destroyed.

The dead cells are eliminated via the body’s lymphatic system.

The procedure basically works by eliminating subcutaneous fat cells by exposing them to freezing temperatures while leaving the underlying skin intact.

To ensure that the patient does not suffer from frostbite effects, a specific level of temperature is used while ensuring that the exposure is maintained at a safe rate.

During this non-invasive procedure, the practitioner places a vacuum applicator directly on the skin.

At this point, the patient for a few minutes will experience a cold feeling as the applicator induces an anesthetic effect.

For around one hour, the subcutaneous fat underneath is cooled before the area under treatment is gently massaged.

The device used in the procedure is a cup-shaped applicator that has two cooling panels.

The cooling panels are placed on the area under treatment.

The device also uses a vacuum to draw fat tissue into its hand piece which is controlled by thermoelectrics and temperature sensors.

The procedure lasts for about 45 minutes after which the technician massages the treated area for about 2 to 5 minutes.

One of the greatest advantages of CoolSculpting over traditional cosmetic surgery procedures is the fact that patients can resume their daily activities immediately after treatment.

Some sections of the body such as the flanks require one session of treatment while others including inner and outer thighs may require multiple sessions for the best results.

There’ll be a waiting period between sessions to allow the skin reaction and inflammatory process to heal.

Expected Results

The results of a CoolSculpting procedure depends on many factors such as the area being treated, the patient’s body type, the number of treatment sessions involved, and many more.

However, clinical studies have shown that:

  • The procedure produces a 25% reduction of fat cells in the treated area.
  • Over 86% of patients who underwent the procedure showed marked improvement.
  • CoolSculpting had a 73% satisfaction rate which is the highest in all non-invasive liposis procedures.
  • It is also worth pointing out that CoolSculptingis an almost painless and safe body sculpting procedure. It has produced the most positive results for many patients and doctors with minimum adverse effects and highest satisfactory rate.

Before And After Photos

CoolSculpting provides positive long-term results that patients are pleased with from all angles.

Most diet and other fat reduction or sculpting procedures hardly provide long-term results leaving you swinging between your “before” and “after” versions.

Results of CoolSculpting speak for themselves.

You can clearly see for yourself the dramatic differences in the following before and after photos.

CoolSculpting Reviews

Both men and women who have undergone CoolSculpting treatment talk highly about the procedure. Most reviews expressed satisfaction of the procedure’s positive results.

For instance, one 42 year old mom of two who wanted to reduce her tummy through a non-invasive procedure says she now feels great after reducing belly fat through CoolSculpting.

Another patient from Ottawa, Canada, underwent a chin CoolSculpting procedure after noticing her jawline had become slack with a small pocket of fat.

Her MD suggested chin-CoolSculpting which eventually provided positive results.

She states that the procedure was painless except for “a little discomfort and numbness on the treated area” but she was glad to see noticeable difference within a week.

A 40-year gentleman whose chin was increasingly becoming larger explains his experience while undergoing a CoolSculpting procedure as painless and has already “started seeing good results.”

Side Effects

If you are considering going for this procedure, you are probably asking,

Is CoolSculpting safe?

Does it have serious side effects?

CoolSculpting is FDA approved for safety and efficiency.

Clinical studies have shown that side effects that may occur from CoolSculpting are indeed rare and never permanent. You may experience the following:

  • Skin redness, numbness, or bruising after the procedure. These signs will wear off in less than a month after treatment.
  • Some patients experienced temporary sensory loss in the treated area which wore off after a few days.
  • The procedure has a 0.1% of late-onset pain which is also temporary. The pain can easily be relieved with Neurontin.
  • No side effects have ever been observed after a post-treatment follow up period of 6 months.

How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost?

cool sculpting

Judging by the numerous clams of success and ease of CoolSculpting, you would naturally expect the procedure to come with a high price tag.

Well, this is not necessary the case especially when you compare the cost of CoolSculpting with the hefty costs of going under the scalpel or the huge amounts of money spent pills and potions that don’t work.

CoolSculpting is affordable, painless, and safer than other procedures.

However, the price you pay for the treatment varies depending on your goals, the area you need treated, and the number of sessions involved.

The types of applicators used will also determine how much you pay for the procedure.

There are different applicators sued in different parts of the body depending on the amount o fat concentration in a specific area and how pinch-able the section is.

Here are a few examples of approximate costs you’d expect to pay for heproceure based on the size and type of applicator used:

  • A large applicator such as the CoolMax costs around $1,250 per session hour. This is the most expensive type of applicator because it is used for volume reduction in a large part of the body.
  • A small applicator costs around $750 per session hour. There are 4 common types of small applicators namely the CoolCore, CoolCurve+, CoolFit, and CoolSmooth.

It is important to first establish a customized treatment plan based on your goals, body, and budget to get the best cost estimate. This is why you are not likely to see specific CoolSculpting prices listed online.

You’ll need to consult a CoolSculpting specialist in person to understand exactly how much the procedure will cost for your individual case.

Are Coolsculpting results permanent?
Millions of people have experience impressive results after undergoing just a handful of Coolsculpting treatments.

The results that people have previously experienced can readily be found all over the internet, but raises one particularly important question – the results might be impressive, but do they last?

The good news is that this procedure assists with the elimination of fat cells.

Coolsculpting works by freezing the fat cells in the patient’s body, ultimately causing these cells to die.

This does lead to long-lasting results, but, at the same time, it is up to the patient how they will deal with their new “body.”

If the patient adopts a healthy lifestyle by eating a balanced diet and participating in adequate amounts of exercise, then the results may be permanent.

If, however, the patient eats an unhealthy diet and decides to participate in a sedentary lifestyle, then they can expect the fat to accumulate again and the results to disappear as they gain back the weight.

Are Coolsculpting results immediate?
A quick visit to the official Coolsculpting website can motivate individuals interested in losing weight as the website shares a lot of pictures where previous patients have experienced a significant reduction in the accumulation of fat in their body.

Those who do decide to try the treatment for themselves may wonder whether they would be able to see the results of this procedure immediately.

It is important to consider the fact that this is a non-invasive treatment that reduced the temperature of fat cells.

In turn, these cells release the fat that has accumulated within them.

The results are not immediate but may take some time to become visible.

It is usually recommended that a patient allows at least three weeks before results will be visible.

In some cases, however, it may take as much as three months before the expected results can be observed.

Additionally, patients should also be aware of the fact that the more than one single treatment may be required for them to experience the results they desire.

The number of treatment session will depend on how much excess fat the patient has and what they expect from the treatment.

Can this procedure be done at home?
Many people have searched for DIY methods that they can use to create similar effects as Coolsculpting.

The idea of achieving similar results at home is attractive as it is well-known that the Cryolipolysis procedure is highly effective at reducing fat storage in the body, but the treatments can also be quite expensive.

Unfortunately, there is no way to mimic the process at home.

The procedure involves a very delicate balance of temperatures, and the technology has been developed to be extremely precise at targeting fat cells, while also avoiding the skin’s surface and other parts of the body to be affected in an adverse way.

There are many videos and tutorials explaining how the process can be done at home, but individuals should be aware of the fact that the body will warm any cold objects that are placed on the skin too quickly for the layer of fat that is found underneath the skin to be affected in the same way that Coolsculpting affects it.

Can this procedure be done on the face?
Fat can accumulate anywhere in the body.

Even though it is most commonly found that fat starts to build up in the abdominal region, the hips and, of course, the arms, there are millions of people that also find that a considerable amount of fat accumulates in their face.

Due to the success of the Coolsculpting procedure, a great number of individuals have considered opting for this procedure in their face.

At the moment, however, the safety regarding the use of Coolsculpting of the face has not been established; thus it is currently not possible to find a licensed doctor that specializes in this procedure to apply the process to a patient’s face.

The closest part to the face that can currently be targeted in a Coolsculpting treatment session is the neck, but only if the patient has a “double chin.”

Can this procedure be done on upper arms?
Coolsculpting has been proven effective when used in several parts of the human body.

The company does primarily target a specific number of regions on the patient’s body, with the upper arms being one of these particular regions.

When visiting the Coolsculpting website, an interested patient can see quite a large number of before-and-after photos providing evidence of how this procedure works for patients who have trouble getting rid of fat accumulated in their upper arms.

Can this procedure be done on ankles?
Since the initial development of the Coolsculpting technology, the creators behind this treatment against fat accumulation has been spending a lot of time and resources in finding more ways that they can target additional areas of the body to assist with reducing fat in more delicate regions.

While the primary technology used in Coolsculpting usually targets the abdomen, the hips, a double chin and, of course, the upper arms, the company has developed a new tool called the “CoolMini Applicator.”

The CoolMini Applicator has been designed to target areas such as the ankles, where fat often accumulates in overweight and obese patients but is often difficult to get rid of.

This “mini” version of the original Coolsculpting device provides a smaller, more targeted approach to areas like the patient’s ankles.

Can this procedure be done on calves?
The idea of using Coolsculpting of parts of the body other than the primary regions promoted by the brand has become quite popular over the last few years.

The calves are particular areas that cause many people great discomfort when excess fat accumulates in the region, as it is often one of the body parts exposed to the public when wearing shorter pants, as well as when wearing a dress or skirt.

The idea of Coolsculpting for calves is supported by some people, but there are also a number of experts who believe this procedure will not be as effective on the calves as it is on the stomach and other “main” areas of the patient’s body.

Further research may still be needed to determine whether the Coolsculpting device is, in fact, effective in this region.

Some clinics that utilize this technology may also prefer to use the CoolMini device from the same brand to target smaller areas, such as the calves.

Can this procedure cause weight gain?
A common concern among individuals who are interested in Coolsculpting is that they may gain weight following their treatments.

Several individuals have, in fact, reported weight gain after they have undergone these treatments that focus on freezing fat cells in the patient’s body.

The truth is, Coolsculpting will not cause a person to gain weight at all.

Individuals who gain weight after they have undergone this procedure usually did not implement appropriate changes in their life to ensure they can maintain their weight.

Without adopting a healthier diet and ensuring proper physical activity, the fat that was lost through the use of the Coolsculpting treatments can quickly start to come back, and the patient may then gain back the weight.

Can this procedure be done on knees?
The primary aim of the Coolsculpting technique is to assist a patient in reducing fat that has accumulated in certain “main” areas of their bodies.

This usually includes the upper arms, as well as the stomach area and, of course, the “love handles.”

Sometimes, fat can accumulate in areas that are harder to treat. In particular, many people find that fat in their knee region is extremely difficult to get rid of.

Fortunately, the Coolsculpting technique has been shown effective in the treatment of fat in the knees.

It is, however, important for individuals to be aware of the fact that Coolsculpting may take some time before it is effective in reducing the fat accumulation in a patient’s knees.

Can this procedure be dangerous?
Coolsculpting has become a very popular option for individuals who are struggling to reduce fat in their body.

Millions of people have already experienced a significant number of benefits by opting for this particular method of weight loss, but, at the same time, it is vital for patients to understand that this technology is not appropriate for every person.

In particular, some people who undergo this procedure may experience aches in the area where the treatment is being administered.

A stinging sensation may also be experienced. Some people have also experienced sensitivity, redness, bruising, and swelling in the area.

There is also a possible side-effect that can be serious.

The side-effect is called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia and is extremely rare. In most cases where the side-effect is reported, the affected patient is a male.

This is not a potentially life-threatening side-effect but can cause cosmetic changes as fat cells start to become larger with the use of Coolsculpting, instead of shrinking as the technology has been designed to do.

Can this procedure help lipedema?
Lipedema is a somewhat common condition that affects approximately 11% of the female population and causes the distribution of fat to be abnormal underneath a person’s skin.

It commonly occurs in the affected individual’s legs and buttocks, but can also affect other parts of their body.

In many cases, lipedema is considered a cosmetic problem, but it can cause complications, including pain.

Many individuals who have been diagnosed with lipedema wonder if they can turn to Coolsculpting treatments to help reduce fat in their body, especially in the affected areas.

Unfortunately, at the moment, no evidence is available that suggests Coolsculpting to be an effective option for patients with lipedema.

Can this procedure be done on male breasts?
Male breasts consist of both breast tissue, as well as fat cells.

This is why a lot of men are asking whether they could utilize Coolsculpting techniques to assist with the reduction in fat that may have accumulated in their breasts.

The good news is that yes, it seems like Coolsculpting is effective at treating male breasts where an excessive amount of fat has accumulated.

Can this procedure help with cellulite?
Cellulite is common among the human population and becomes a great risk when fat accumulation is increased.

For this reason, cellulite is often associated with fat, but it is important to note that this is actually considered closer to a skin condition.

For this reason, individuals interested in undergoing Coolsculpting treatments should take note that this procedure will not work for cellulite, but only for the underlying fat in the patient’s body.

Can this procedure be done on inner thighs?
Coolsculpting is a technique that has been introduced for killing off fat cells in many areas of the human body.

The primary aim, however, is for the treatment of fat that has accumulated in the main areas of the body – this includes the larger regions most often affected.

The inner thighs are usually considered one of these areas.

Individuals who are interested in seeing how the treatment could assist with reducing the size of their inner thighs can visit the official website of Coolsculpting

Their website has a number of before-and-after pictures that can be viewed to help individuals who wish to undergo these treatments see how they might be able to benefit.

Can this procedure be done on obese?
Obesity is a global concern that causes millions of premature deaths.

The condition causes heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and many other diseases.

For this reason, obese individuals are often on the lookout for ways that they can reduce the fat that they have gained and, in turn, reduce their risk of these dangerous complications.

Coolsculpting is a technology that was designed to assist with freezing and, in turn, killing fat cells in the patient’s body.

Thus, this particular technology can be an effective way for obese individuals to lose some of the fat that has accumulated in their bodies.

In fact, according to the official manufacturer, this procedure can help to reduce the number of fat cells that are present in the targeted areas by up to 25%.

Can this procedure give you abs?
A quick look on the official Coolsculpting website can be surely motivating, as the company has shared a significant number of photos of patients who have undergone this procedure.

A couple of these photos show past patients with abs, which causes many people to think that this technology can help give them abs.

It is vital for individuals who might be considering undergoing Coolsculpting realize that this procedure will not give them six pack abs.

If the patient already has a six-pack that is “buried” underneath a layer of fat in their abdominal area, then the use of Coolsculpting can assist with reducing the fat layer that lies on top of the abs.

Can this procedure cause a hernia?
The use of Coolsculpting has become extremely popular, but, as this weight loss treatment has become well-known throughout the world, numerous myths are being shared on the internet regarding this particular procedure.

One particular myth that we have seen circulating is that the Coolsculpting can cause a patient to develop a hernia.

This is a myth, and no evidence are available that suggests Coolsculpting can cause a hernia.

Can this procedure be done on eye bags?
Coolsculpting has been proven effective for the reduction of fat cells in the body of a patient who is struggling to lose weight but has also been shown to be effective in assisting with tightening the skin in the areas where the treatment is administered.

For this reason, many people have asked whether the Coolsculpting technology can be used to reduce the appearance of eye bags.

It is important to understand that this technology was not designed specifically for firming the skin and should not be used in the area around the eyes at all.

Can this procedure make you nausea?
Even though the Coolsculpting procedure is viewed as a safe and non-invasive way for individuals to reduce the fat accumulation in major areas of their body, a couple of side-effects have been associated with this technology.

Some patients who undergo this procedure may experience nausea, yes.

In addition to nausea, other vasovagal symptoms may also develop, including excessive sweating and headaches.

Can this procedure cause cancer?
There have been a couple of concerns about a possibility that Coolsculpting could contribute to the development of cancer in patients.

In particular, the fact that some patients may experience inflammation and related symptoms are what causes people to be concerned.

Fortunately, no evidence has yet been found to provide a definite link between Coolsculpting and cancer.

At this moment, no link has been established, and individuals are undergoing this treatment is not considered to be at a higher risk.

How many Coolsculpting treatments are needed?
The Coolsculpting brand claims that the use of their unique technology can help to freeze and eliminate between 20 and 25% of fat in targeted areas where the treatment is focused on.

While a significant number of individuals find that a single session of Coolsculpting helps to provide effective results, it is important that individuals with a more significant amount of fat to realize that they may require additional treatment sessions to achieve the results they desire through the use of this technology.

The specific number of treatments that a patient may require would depend on a number of factors – including their current weight and how effective each treatment is for them.

How does it tighten skin?
It is well-known that weight loss often leads to saggy skin, which is considered unattractive and causes people great concern about their body image.

For this reason, many people would like to know if Coolsculpting will cause them to experience loose skin, or help to tighten their skin.

Fortunately, the majority of people who have undergone this treatment before have found that the procedure does not only help to reduce their body fat but also works effectively to tighten their skin.

This technology helps to stimulate the production of collagen in the skin, which is why most people find that the firmness of their skin significantly improves with Coolsculpting treatments.

How much does the Coolsculpting machine cost?
Due to the increasing popularity of the Coolsculpting procedures that has helped millions reduce the fat accumulation in their body and improved their body’s contour, a lot of physicians who specialize in weight loss procedures have become interested in offering this service to their patients.

Specific pricing is not provided by the brand, but it is known that a single one of these devices tends to cost over $125,000.

Additionally, physicians and clinics that want to start offering their patients Coolsculpting procedures will need to pay an annual fee of over $10,000 toward the Coolsculpting brand.

What temperature is Coolsculpting done?
Since the Coolsculpting technology utilizes freeze technology to help destroy and eliminate fat cells from the patient’s body, individuals may be concerned about possible skin damage as extremely cold temperatures are known to cause damage to the skin.

Additionally, when temperatures drop too low, it may also cause other tissues in the body, including organs, to become damaged.

Fortunately, this technology was designed to only operate at a temperature that is not considered harmful to the patient undergoing treatment.

These machines operate at a temperature between 39 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit and will not reach the temperatures that are known to cause damage to tissues apart from the fat cells.

When it doesn’t work?
Even though Coolsculpting has been proven effective after millions of treatments, there are still a relatively large number of patients who do not find this particular weight loss treatment an effective solution.

It is, however, important that patients realize that a single treatment does not always provide the expected results.

Thus, when a single treatment does not seem to work, the patient may want to undergo additional treatment to see if they can achieve better results.

Further sessions, however, may not provide appropriate results if the first two sessions do not seem to work for the patient.

When this procedure goes wrong?
Coolsculpting has been used on a significant number of people and often yields promising results, but, at the same time, there are potential drawbacks that need to be taken into account.

Several reports have been published to make individuals who are considering the use of Coolsculpting to reduce the fat in their body aware of the possible drawbacks a patient may experience when they undergo this particular procedure.

Common side-effects associated with Coolsculpting include skin damage, scarring, skin damage, tingling, swelling, redness, and bruising.

Even though extremely rare, patients should also be aware of the possibility that a complication called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia may occur.

Is it FDA approved?
Many people who are interested in undergoing procedures that can assist them with achieving a healthier body weight are interested in learning whether or not such a procedure has been reviewed and approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

Coolsculpting does state that their technology and the procedure they use to freeze and kill fat cells have been cleared by the FDA.

Whether approved by the FDA, however, is not explicitly stated.

Where does fat go after that procedure?
The process of Coolsculpting is readily shared on the brand’s official website, but they do not specifically state what happens to the fat that gets frozen during these treatment sessions.

This is important information that the patient needs to be aware of.

The process is really simple, in reality, and called apoptosis.

When the device used during Coolsculpting freezes cells, they die off and release fat.

The immune system then transports the fat towards the liver, where they are metabolized and, finally, excreted from the patient’s body.

Where is this procedure the cheapest?
Coolsculpting might be an effective method to help people reduce fat in their body, but this is quite an expensive procedure to undergo.

The average price of a single Coolsculpting session in the United States is $2,400.

The prices do, however, seem to vary between $450 and $4550.

Some locations do, however, seem to be cheaper than others.

For example, the price of a session is $1,200 in Burnsville, MN.

In Las Vegas, NV, the price of treatment is $1,300.

In Hot Springs, AR, the cost for a single treatment is $1,260. A complete map that represents the pricing for Coolsculpting treatments is readily available on the internet.

Who does Coolsculpting near me?
While the availability of Coolsculpting was very limited in the beginning, the company has expanded significantly in the last couple of years.

Coolsculpting treatments are now available at facilities throughout the entire world, which gives more people than ever before access to this particular procedure that has helped millions of people overcome the obstacles that excess fat causes them to face.

The Coolsculpting brand has made it very easy for individuals interested in these treatments to find a facility close to them that offers this technology.

Patients can visit the Locator page and enter their zip code, or enter their country, which will provide them with a large number of facilities that they can utilize to undergo the Coolsculpting procedure.

Will this procedure work on lipomas?
Lipomas are lumps of fat that develop underneath the skin.

They can be both uncomfortable and cause a person to feel self-conscious about the appearance of these lumps.

Due to the way that Coolsculpting works, people have been asking whether this procedure can help them to get rid of lipomas.

Many people with lipomas have found the use of this technology very effective in the treatment of this particular condition.

It should be noted that, while this procedure does seem to be effective in treating the condition, it will not act like a complete cure.

Will this procedure help me lose weight?
Excessive accumulation of fat causes a person to gain in weight.

This eventually leads to obesity, which causes a person to be at a higher risk for numerous diseases that could cause them an early death.

Coolsculpting has been developed to help freeze these excess fat cells and, in turn, help to reduce the amount of fat that is present in a patient’s body.

This brings about an interesting question – will the use of Coolsculpting help a person lose weight.

The answer is yes, but only if the treatment does turn out to be an effective option for the patient.

Not all patients are appropriate subjects for this procedure, which is why each individual who is interested in the treatment will have to undergo an examination so that the physician who will be administering the treatment can determine if the patient is eligible.

Will insurance cover Coolsculpting?
Coolsculpting is an exceptionally expensive treatment.

At the same time, the treatment has been proven effective, and it is non-invasive, making it a more appropriate option as compared to many other options that are promoted to assist individuals in losing weight.

Due to the high prices associated with Coolsculpting, quite a large number of people are asking if their insurance would cover the procedure.

Unfortunately, this process is considered a cosmetic procedure, which means health insurance policies will not pay for it.

This is an important factor that patients should take note of before they decide to undergo the procedure, as they will have to pay upfront for the treatment.

Will fat return after this procedure?
Since a lot of people who lose weight tend to gain weight back after a short while, it is only natural for people to want to know whether fat will start to return when they have undergone the Coolsculpting procedure.

This is especially important to know since the treatment is expensive and often costs more than $2,000 for a single session.

Coolsculpting can provide patients with long-term and even permanent results, but it is vital that the patient understands that it will take work from their side to maintain the results.

An appropriate diet needs to be adopted, and the patient needs to ensure they get enough exercise to avoid fat being stored in their body.

Without these strategies, fat can come back, and the patient may start to regain the weight they were able to lose through Coolsculpting.

Biggest scam and waste of money ever! Don’t be fooled, it does not work. Husband had 4 applicators on him, over $2000. Its been a year and there is no difference at all. I had my lower stomach done, $1000. I am worse now than I was before I did it. It made my entire stomach very lumpy, large lumps. Looks terrible! Worst decision we ever made!

I totally agree with you. I spent $4800 for 6 treatments of same area. Not a bit of differents. The only guy that improved is the jerks that own these scam machines. Totally SNAKE OIL.

I agree!! I did all four quad’s. I found no results and only after I went for my followup was I told that it’s only approx a 25% loss. My stomach is rounder than before even though the fat cells are supposedly “gone and dead”. I don’t over eat, I don’t drink enough, I exercise and I’m so totally disgusted and embarrassed in my look. Lot’s of money for only 25% loss and to actually be bigger??

Thank you for your review. I don’t waste my money for this snake oil. Is there consumer protection somewhere?

  5. Sandy Faulkner says:

Does it shrink skin over the fat (ex. Over the belly). Or does the skin sag where the fat has been removed?

  6. Dee in AZ says:

Absolutely no results. It was expensive ($5000 for full stomach). I saw absolutely no difference. I told measurements before and at 2 months, 3 months and 4 months. No difference in appearance of measurements. I kept my diet and exercise stable throughout (weight also). It was a complete waste of money. The offer no guarantees, won’t refund.

  7. Krista says:

I did several cool sculpting procedures, yet I still have the same fat on my abs. No reduction, and I’m very disappointed. I spent a lot of money for this.

  8. Mary says:

I did one coolsculpting procedure at Skin Medi Spa in Sudbury Ontario. I wanted to get rid of my upper belly. It is awful!! Where the machine was placed is hard and bigger now than it was when I went in for the procedure. You can tell where she placed the machine. I talked to them a couple of months after the procedure, and they said that I would just have to pay for more. I am so disappointed, and am now struggling with how to get rid of my hard lump. The upper part of my belly is bigger than the lower abdomen, it looks awful!!!!

    1. INterested says:

HI Mary. I was considering this as well at Skin Medi spa..would be interested in hearing more about your experience

  9. Jason newman says:

You have a conflict of interest. You are pushing another is seen by the fact that the reviews are all negative you should be ashamed of your self.

    1. Agreeing with the Above Comment says:

      my thoughts exactly!

      1. Kelly M says:

I was thinking the same thing! How can all of the comments be negative.. convenient theres a weight loss pill being advertised at the end of the article too.

        1. Dee says:

I have nothing to do with whatever is being advertised on the page. I did cool sculpting (4 quads-$5000) and had absolutely no results. It sucks, I made pmts of $300 a month and got nothing for it! They really push diet and exercise, which we all need to do, but I think they are hoping motivated people are doing everything to lose weight all at once, then they get credit for the results. Coolsculpting does nothing except but make your bank account smaller.

  10. Carol Wilson says:

is this like Fif? FIG was out a few years ago. it was shots of something that maded your skin turn a strange color. it was pot out of business.

  11. Jackson Thompson says:

Will the fat cells collect again in the area the procedure was preformed or will fat cell collect in a different part of your body?

  12. L OSBORNE says:

Five months on, ZERO results. Complete con. For the same amount just get advanced lipo and deal with it. I wish I had – no adverse effects either, admittedly, just exactly the same level of fat as before. Mystifying. How many people have also seen no results whatsoever after handing over thousands of dollars?

    1. olivia says:

L osborne, me too. I feel like an idiot and I know I’m not getting a refund. I should’ve researched this before doing it. At least you’re not alone.

  13. amber says:

It worked in the beginning. I had my stomach done after 6 months it looked flatter but now my stomach is bigger than ever. I would not recommend better off paying the money and getting liposuction its close to the same price.

  14. Hayden says:

I just had a session done for my chin its been 6 days after and I’m excited to see my results. Reading so many bad reviews makes me think but everyone is different and not everyone is a candidate for this procedures.

  15. Michelle R says:

Terrible experience paid $1200 no results, now its even harder to lose now. No feeling in my lower stomach. When I called 6mnths later they said I need another treatment.

  16. maddy says:

Hey l was thinking if it were that simple get an ice pack and put it on the fat areas. Just my thought. Not being mean.

  17. Tami Amsler says:

I paid $2000 and never saw results! Did the HCG diet for 21 days, $600 and lost 24 pounds. Cool sculpting owes me money, that’s how i feel.

  18. Barbara S says:

Wow…! I’m glad I checked on reviews first. I have never see such negative comments on anything I have ever researched. This is sad. They shouldn’t even be providing this service or procedure if its not affective on so many people and body types. Saving me a trip for my consultation today. I guess back to old school busting my but in the gym continues….

  19. S says:

I had it done over 2 years ago. I was told I would lose 30% after the first treatment. My lower belly protrudes several inches from my body so 30% would have been very noticeable. They told me it would be 8 weeks to see full results. I did not lose one single molecule of fat whatsoever. It cost me $1000. Worst money I ever spent. Terrible, worthless, nothing procedure. and it stretched and contorted my stomach into a giant suction cup. I asked if this stretching would make my stretch marks worse, they said no. I can’t imagine it helped my stretch marks, and now my belly looks lumpy, which it never did before, and I definitely have more stretch marks than before. Dunno if this was because of the Cool Sculpting, but it definitely didn’t help. And Cool Sculpting definitely didn’t help in ANY way at ALL! Don’t get it!!!!
