I have been fascinated by the Nutrimost nutritional weight loss program claims, and had read a lot of Nutrimost reviews that were saying how fantastic it was, with people losing as much as 45 pounds in weight.

Marketed as a weight loss and wellness program, it’s apparently suitable for men and women, of all ages. It’s actually a personalized plan, rather than an off-the-shelf supplement. That made it interesting, and slightly different to the usual pills and potions sold.

It’s been around since 2007, and the claims made about it are quite significant. On top of that, the company who make it, NextLevel Health Cooperative, state that Nutrimost analyze 3000 biological markers in the body to create each individual weight loss plan.

With it sounding so fantastic, I thought that it was time to undertake a detailed Nutrimost review to see how individual and effective it really is.

What Is It?

You’re probably wondering what the Nutrimost weight loss formula actually is to make it sound so impressive.

Unfortunately it’s not actually as impressive as it sounds as far as I’m concerned. Basically an analysis is done on you to get a targeted Nutrimost program for you as an individual. Although that sounds high-tech and targeted, it basically boils down to you getting a diet plan that allegedly suits you, along with tips and advice.

But at the root of it, it’s simply a very low calorie diet. Between 500 and 700 cal per day, and then you take supplements provided by the company.

In this respect, it’s a similar concept to the unproven and widely denounced HCG diet, where you use injections of HCG along with a 500 cal daily diet.

The bottom line is anybody who’s eating so little food is going to lose weight, even if the body does go into starvation mode, especially initially through water loss. The difference with the Nutrimost diet plan is a selling point that it’s a diet that targets you, and then is topped up with supplements rather than injections.

Does It Work?

With any type of diet plan or supplement, the big question is how much weight you can lose. So the obvious question I’m wondering is does Nutrimost work?

And I have say that I am skeptical based on what I’m reading about it.

Yes you are going to lose weight. But it’s inevitable in the short term with the low calorie intake.

The targeted diet plan you get is based on something called NRF technology, which stands for Nutrimost Resonant Frequency.  Stimuli are sent into your body, to look at the skin response.

From this apparently they are able to determine the unique biomarkers to see where in the body there may be imbalance and weakness.

Now that sounds fantastic, but what does that actually mean in reality for losing weight? I’m not convinced that it can really help that much.

You then receive a targeted 500 to 700 per day calorie food program, based around whole organic food. So you are not eating rubbish, but it’s obviously about a quarter of what most people would usually eat.

I think what makes me skeptical the most is that your personalized Nutrimost diet plan claims to target fat, specifically in difficult to remove areas.

I’m afraid I just don’t believe this, it doesn’t matter what types of food you eat, or what supplements you take, you can’t choose where to lose weight on your body other than through direct surgical intervention.

Is It A Scam?

I’m not going to say it’s a Nutrimost scam, but I am going to question some of the huge claims:

  • Can reset metabolism
  • Can reset weight starting setpoint
  • Eliminates all hunger cravings
  • Doctor supervised
  • Lose up to 30 pounds in 40 days
  • Target where you lose weight

I think anyone thinking of trying this weight loss formula probably needs to look at those claims and ask themselves how any calorie controlled diet backed up only by expensive proprietary supplements which claim to support the diet, but which appear to just basically be vitamin tablets, can do all that.

One great way to get to the heart of how good any diet plan or supplement is, I find is always to look at user reviews with an open mind. So I took a look at reviews from people who seem genuine, and generally it was incredibly disheartening:

“Please don’t do it, it is expensive, there is no scientific backing for it. If you want eat 500 calories per day in 2 lean proteins, 1 leafy green veg, 1 other veg (not starch), 2 fruits and all the coffee and tea you want and 64oz water, you will be in the same place but save $1,800 or more.”

There were lots of comments like that, but then some more positive comments about weight loss, but not effortlessly:

“I am 2 weeks in on the diet and have lost About 10 pounds! But I am starving all the time . Does it ever get better”

And there are positive reviews, but I did find most of them seemed incredibly long and detailed, and some definitely suspicious:

“I can not begin to tell you how well this program works!! I’m a female and 52 years old. I lost 29 lbs. now weighing 137lbs. on the 40 day plan and have kept it off for 6 months now. I felt great during the program and continue to feel amazing with my new/old skinny body. In fact, I’m going back on the 20 day plan today because I’d like to lose an additional 10 lbs to get to a weight I haven’t seen in 20 years. Although, I would still be extremely happy if I never lost another pound!! I wish I could tell every person that struggles with their weight, about this plan…”

So What Are The Pros & Cons Of Nutrimost?

When it comes to the Pros of Nutrimost, I see them as:

  • If you stick at it you will lose weight because of the low calorie count.
  • The supplements will benefit your body as they seem to be vitamins and amino acids.
  • You do get to speak to a Doctor and be analyzed.

But for me the cons of Nutrimost far outweigh the benefits:

  • It costs $1800 per cycle.
  • No diet can target areas of your body to lose fat from.
  • It will make you hideously hungry, and no vitamin supplement is going to stop that.
  • Initial dramatic weight loss will mostly be water loss.

How Much Does It Cost?

You can only buy Nutrimost by signing up on their main website. You are then allocated to a regional center, where you make an appointment and deal with that center specifically. So it is basically a franchise, much like Weight Watchers.

As I said, the cost of Nutrimost is around $1800 per cycle. From what I can understand, that does not include the cost of the supplements.

So it costs quite a lot of money, and you have to have a franchise Doctor in your area.

Nutrimost Review: Conclusions

I can’t find much positive to say about this diet plan I’m afraid.

It’s incredibly expensive and the claims it makes about how it can target how you lose weight just seems impossible, and there is no verification of any of the claims from any scientific studies I can find.

It was created by a Doctor, but when he states things like this:

“God created us with such an awesome, awe inspiring power within us that can heal us from any condition known to man…”

Well, I kind of lost interest in the claims made about his diet straight after reading that.

    It does include the supplements and this diet works like a charm. i lost 43 lbs in 80 days and felt like a new person. I was not hungry as you are drinking alot of water and after the first week you settle into the routine. For me, it’s great!

    I’ve been on the nutrimost program for 21 days and I have lost 10 Do the math ……close to .5 pounds every day I’m not hungry as long as I drink my stevia flavored water… just like any other diet it is his mind over matter— however I am NOT hungry —I am focused… The reason I started the diet was I needed to lose 20 pounds and I have Suffered withsevere eczema on and off my entire life but mostly over the last three years of my life — my eczema has cleared 95%! For me this is a digestive/intestinal cleanse. 20 more days and 10 more pounds and I will be very happy!

      What is the point to pay so much money to be told to go on 500 calorie intake diet. Of course if you will lose weight when you get rid of bad fats, carbs, and sugars from your diet. Don’t be that naive, people.

    THIS DOES NOT WORK…LOOK UP Intermittent fasting…This is a loose form of that, but it costs you a ridiculous amount of money… I know first hand this “diet” is all about the advertising, it doesnt work at its core. Sure, people are loosing weight with a fancy tech app they provide, however, it is very unhealthy. I will make a bet with you. eat 1,000 calories a day for 30 days, drink 8 cups of water each day, and I promise you, you will loose weight. And this is an easier option than Nutrimost. They do not want you to eat at all, but they want all of your money, while the “CEO”, who is not scientist, gets all of your money, so he and his wife can go out and eat. Eat, something he is telling you not to do.

    I have done the Nutrimost program. I lost 44 lbs in the first 40 days. Then did the maintenance plan as required. Caloric intake went up to 2200 calories a day and didn’t gain again. I work out like crazy and wasn’t allowed to on the plan. My energy levels spiked. I stopped snoring and lost my sleep apnea. I did another 40 day plan and lost 27 more lbs. I cheated 4x the first 40 days and cheated about 25x the second 40 days. But lost about 8 inches on my waist. And went from a size 54 chest to a 42/44. I’m a 43 year old male and besides my own devious devices it doesn’t seem like the weight is coming back. I’ve gained 5-15 lbs back but then lost it again because the program teaches you how to drop the weight. How to eat. When to eat. It’s not easy. But coming worth doing ever is. If you decide to do the program you have to commit to it. Once the program is done don’t be lazy. Work out

    I did the program 3 years ago. I initially lost 23 pounds then another 12 after it ended. It has been 3 years and old habits have crept back in (sugar/carb addiction!) but I have managed to maintain a 25 pound weight loss. It was life changing. I got off 2 medications and I would recommend it. Each franchise is run independently so experiences will vary but with mine, the daily and weekly check-ins were incredibly helpful to keep me on track. It is only for a short period to detox your system and train yourself to eat differently. I did not cheat. That is key.

    I have to say that if you have the money and you like the clinic staff (they are all vary) and need the support, go for it. I found it be a combination of intermittent fasting, very low calorie diet and healthy foods. Their supplements helped some swelling issues I had. In fact, so much so that when I traveled and quit taking the Curcumin (sp?) liquid in my water, the edema issue returned and then subsided when I returned and was back to taking it. You get texts daily that are inspirational and you text your weight. All of it helps you focus on weight loss. Also, you will find yourself eating foods and a variety that maybe you hadn’t before. I believe that helps in the weight loss too. Granted, though, it’s expensive. If you can locate quality supplements, do your own intermittent fasting mixed with a low calorie diet, you could do this on your own. I liked it. It helped me. I felt it was sound science too: Intermittent fasting, getting plenty of sleep, eating real food. It’s all important. That’s my 2 cents. I lost 20 in the first round and 50 all together and keep the lifestyle to this day with a few cheats.
